Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated leader to build a strong team responsible for designing new VM offerings and to drive the adoption of new hardware technologies into the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for new technology and virtualization technology. You will learn about the challenges that affect operations at a global scale and help design the next generation Microsoft Azure platforms. You will also learn what it takes to support new business models, applications, and operating models as we bring new customers and partners onto the Microsoft Azure system.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualification:

6+ years of professional development experience

2+ years of professional people management experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field

Strong development skills with some program management experience a plus

Experience directing hardware programs a plus

Experience with Microsoft Azure a plus

Knowledge of virtualization technology a plus

Knowledge of server architecture a plus

Experience operating a service at scale a plus

Required Skills:

Strong people management skills

Strong problem solving skills

Experience with C# and Python

Experience working across teams to drive complex projects

Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiating skills

Proven track record of developing partnerships across companies

Demonstrated track-record of self-directed execution
