Microsoft Azure for Operators division develops cutting edge solutions for Telco network operators, helping them deploy, secure and monetize services across Microsoft Azure and other custom platforms in multi-cloud environment. This group is responsible for architecting and delivering technically sound mobile core solutions utilizing cloud native technologies & microservice based architectures for 5G and other 3GPP standards based solutions.

Responsibilities

Design & develop different architectures for non-3GPP access solutions

Implement resilient and high performance applications and tools from scratch

Integrate open source and custom projects and features into cloud native platform with deep understanding of performance, usability & security

Play a technical lead role for sub-components of non-3GPP product portfolio

Work in collaboration with world class engineering team across different geographically dispersed team

Qualifications

5+ Years of experience in Telecom Software Development

BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or Electronics & Communications

3GPP Protocol experience, preferred non-3GPP access experience

Highly desirable in-depth IKEv2/IPsec Protocol experience with feature extensions like MOBIKE, IKE fragmentation, NAT traversal etc.

General Security architectures including PKI & Certificate Management

Programming Languages – C++ & C, python

Experience with virtualized & cloud native platforms

Understanding of OpenSSL, Linux security

Excellent organization and documentation skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
