We are looking for Senior Engineers for the Employee Experience team who will be responsible for building new modules and horizontal features that span multiple modules in the Microsoft Viva Product Suite. The Employee Experience team is run as a start-up, encouraging team members to share a sense of “founderism”. Responsibilities

Lead architecture and implementation for complex features with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability.

Provide technical leadership across rapid prototyping, feature development and service fundamentals / system health monitoring.

Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members.

Collaborate with Partner Engineering Teams and drive technical strategy and alignment to make the product successful from the start.

Qualifications

6+ years of software design and development experience in modern front-end or backend technologies; ReactJS, ReactNative, Javascript, C, C#, C++, or Java

Strong technical abilities around design, coding, rapid prototyping, debugging, and problem solving

Excellent verbal, written and cross group collaboration and communication skills

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent field experience

Experience working with distributed systems / Microservices architectures

Ability to work on cross-platform code
